The restaurant looks fabulous outside, but a bit ordinary inside. However there is cheffy stuff going on. Good wine by the glass. Great value ”

The staff is not only pleasant and cheerful, but also full of humor, which makes the experience even more welcoming. Despite our large table of 13, we were welcomed with the utmost care. Special mention goes to the attention even before our arrival: a call to ask if we preferred to dine inside or on the terrace, depending on the weather. “ I had lunch at La Brasserie du Lavoir during my visit to Apremont-sur-Allier, a beautiful setting in the heart of the village. The food was good, well-presented, and the ingredients seemed fresh. A special mention goes to the dessert, which was truly delicious. On the other hand, the service was unfortunately very slow. We waited a long time between courses, without much explanation or special attention during the wait. It's a shame, because the place has a lot of potential. In summary: good food in a charming setting, but the responsiveness and organization of the service could be improved for the experience to be a complete success. ”
